but, I have been sucked in!
David got me the first two books for Christmas since I had mentioned it every time I read someone else's post about how much they loved these books. I don't think I have read an entire novel since I read the entire Left Behind series when I was on bedrest pregnant with Kirstyn and we didn't have cable! Anyway, I read the first few chapters on Friday night and today when David went to the store for a few groceries he was given instructions to bring home the other two books because in the past 48 hours I have read over 1000 pages and was ready to keep reading!
It works out really, because he has been playing his Wii non-stop! Guess it is a good thing that the kids are loving the Wii too!
I can't wait to show you my Christmas pictures and show you my favorite present... but not right now... right now I have to get back to reading...
So, tell me, have you been captivated by this saga yet?

I am totally laughin out loud right now! I got the first two books for Christmas also and have not put them down since. I finished the first one yesterday and am about half way through the second. They're great, aren't they? Have you seen the movie yet?
Glad to hear you had a great Christmas. Happy Belated Birthday!
YES!!! They are so great! I got into the books a couple months ago, devoured all four in record time, and wanted more!! The movie was fun, too - although not as good as what I'd imagined in my mind. :o) I'm a Twilight Addict!
I just started the second book in the series. I had been reading just a little each night before bed (which is how I do most of my reading these days). Normally I am one of those quick readers who reads a book in a weekend, but I'm learning to slow down in my old age and am realizing that some of the books I read, I really don't want to end so quickly so I'm making them last! LOL. :)
WELCOME TO THE MADNESS!! I am so glad that someone else I know is "hooked"!
I'm addicted too! I just loaned out books 2 and 3 to one of my friends on Saturday and she's already ready to borrow #4. I always try to warn people before they start reading that they will suck you in.
I am such an addictive reader I think I better stay away until I have more time! They sound fantastic and I will read them eventually :)
Glad you are enjoying them!
I read them several months ago.
I'm glad you have been sucked in. My teen and I read all four books this summer. I had to speed read to keep ahead of her.....but it was easy to do. The books are a lot of fun! Make you feel like a teen again doesn't it??
Oh yes, sucked in and captivated a few months back when I first started hearing all about them. Even read them at stop lights on my way to work. Dangerous but true!
Whilst I LOVE vampires in almost any form, I didn't think I was going to fall in love with these books. But oh did I ever!!!!
I've read all four of them 5 times now and have seen the movie three times...although I will admit to liking the movie less and less each time I see it.
So glad you're enjoying the books.
I have heard such great things about this book! I just bought it and now I want to read it even more after reading your post
Oh yeah! I am a recent Twilight "convert" too! LOL...
Yay! Another Twilight mommy! They are soooo addicting! I am considering reading them again~
LOVE THEM!
I have read them all twice!
Happy SITS day!
read all 4 books - they're awesome!
enjoy!
congrats on being saucy!
Saw you on SITS!
I have so been sucked in as well - love them!
I read them all recently. Everything else went on hold until I was finished.
Hey I saw you mentioned the Left Behind series by Tim LeHaye? I know they are trying to build a community of us fans of the series. If you want to join the group we are at http://www.foundthisbook.com
I'm visiting from SITS and just wanted to tell you that you look phenomenal! I was a size 22 in High School and have been a consistent size 14 for about 10 years now, so I know just how hard it is. Good luck with continued success on WW. (As an aside, my husband has lost about 50 pounds on WW over the last 7 months!)
